Indianapolis police conduct death investigation on north side

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police investigated a person's death Monday night on the city's north side.

According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers patrolling in the 2100 block of East 37th Street just after 9:30 p.m. found a deceased person who had "injuries consistent with trauma."

IMPD homicide detectives responded to the scene and began an investigation. The person's identity and cause of death not been released.
