INDIANAPOLIS — A late-afternoon Christmas Eve chase ended when the suspect wrecked his car east of downtown Indianapolis.
The suspect, who was allegedly armed, was arrested at the Interstate-70/Rural-Keystone exit just before 5 p.m.
Police has chased the car across the city's west side, following reports that the driver had fired shots at other people.
Near I.U. Health-Methodist Hospital, the suspect got on the interstate, only to exit a few miles later at Rural-Keystone where the vehicle ran into a road sign.
The suspect did not appear to be injured. Police were investigating the reports that the man had fired at other people.
