MUNCIE — Jurors in Muncie Thursday found a man guilty of murder in a shooting death outside a Walmart.
Justin Bennett will be sentenced October 30.
The murder happened late at night in February in the parking lot of the south side Muncie Walmart. Victim Chase Woolumf was rushed to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital where he later died.

At the time, Muncie Police Deputy Chief Melissa Pease said there was an ongoing dispute between the two men. They decided to meet in the parking lot, with Woolumf ending up dead.
It didn't take long for police to find Bennett. He was charged with murder, resisting law enforcement, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Jurors found Bennett guilty on all counts.
