INDIANAPOLIS -- Police say a woman shot at a northwest side KFC Saturday afternoon has died of her injuries.
Officers were called to the KFR located at 7215 N. Michigan Road around 5:30 Saturday on a report of an employee of the business who had been shot.
They arrived to find Quiana Lashawn Toussaint, 20, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Toussaint was rushed to the hospital in extremely critical condition.

IMPD confirmed Tuesday afternoon that Toussaint had died of her injuries. Police said the case is considered a death investigation at this time.
Toussaint’s death marks the sixth fatal shooting in Indianapolis since Friday.
