MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. -- A Kokomo man faces child molesting charges over accusations he fondled a 5-year-old girl.
Randall Eugene Mitchell was taken into custody early Wednesday morning by deputies from the Miami County Sheriff’s Department.
According to a probable cause affidavit, a couple that was allowing Mitchell to stay at their home awoke to find him inappropriately touching their 5-year-old daughter.
Police said Mitchell initially denied the accusations, but then admitted he had “pet” the girl.
Mitchell was booked into the Miami County Jail on preliminary charges of child molesting.
