Lafayette police investigating after school bus shot

LAFAYETTE — Three students and a driver were on board a Lafayette School Corporation bus Friday afternoon when police say someone shot at the back window with a BB or pellet gun.

According to information from the Lafayette Police Department, officers were called at 4:18 p.m. that someone shot at the back window of a Lafayette School Corporation bus as it turned into the Sun Villas Apartments off Poland Hill Road.

Nobody on the bus was injured.

Police believe a BB or pellet gun was used in the incident.
