INDIANAPOLIS — Police arrested a 23-year-old man Thursday who is accused of stabbing another man to death on Christmas Eve.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Brent Pitcock, 23, allegedly killed Paul Scharbrough, 29, after an altercation near a gas station in the 1400 block of East Washington Street.

Police said Pitcock and Scharbrough argued over cigarettes before the stabbing.
Pitcock is preliminarily charged with murder.
