INDIANAPOLIS — A man is fighting for his life on Thursday morning after being shot on Indianapolis' northwest side overnight, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning near 35th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.
The man was shot in the chest and groin just outside of his home, according to authorities.
Police say the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. However, they're still working on learning what lead up to the gunfire.
Metro police say the victim isn't cooperating with investigators.
