KOKOMO — Police are hoping the photo of a vehicle above will help them identify a man accused of exposing himself and performing a lewd sexual act at two young girls in Kokomo.
Kokomo Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of South Market on July 1 for a report of indecent exposure.
The two 8-year-old victims told police they had ridden their bikes to the gas station at Jay and Markland to get a drink and when they were heading home a man in a blue passenger car pulled up next to them and asked them for a drink. The girls told police that as soon as he had their attention he raised his hips from the driver's seat, exposing his genitals while performing a lewd sexual act.
The man then asked the girls for their phone number and they told police they ran home to seek help.
Surveillance video captured in the area shows the vehicle police believe the suspect was driving. Anyone with information about the vehicle below should contact the Kokomo Police Department at 765-456-7017 or Sergeant Richard Benzinger at 7965-456-7324.
