INDIANAPOLIS -- A 31-year-old man was revived from an apparent overdose Friday morning after he was found unconscious in a vehicle near a west side school.

Police were called to the 1200 block of North Belleview Place around 6:30 a.m. Friday on a report of an unconscious man in a 2011 Ford Explorer next to the Head Start School #75.

Responders administered Narcan to the unresponsive man, who was revived and then transported to Eskenazi Hospital for medical treatment.

He was also placed under arrest on preliminary charges of possession of paraphernalia and a controlled substance.
