INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death inside a home on Indianapolis' east side Wednesday afternoon.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers initially responded to the 300 block of N. Colorado Avenue for a report of a person shot around 2 p.m.
Arriving officers found an adult male suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds inside of a home in the area. The man was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Christopher Ramos, 36, was killed in the incident, Marion County Chief Deputy Coroner Alfie McGinty said in an email.
Police are still trying to determine the cause of the shooting and speak to any witnesses who may have been nearby at the time of the incident.
