INDIANAPOLIS — A man is in critical condition after he was shot in an attempted robbery early Friday morning on the west side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, two men were walking near W. 10th Street and N. Girls School Road when they were approached by four-to-six men.
One of the people in the larger group had a gun and attempted to rob the two when the shooting occurred.
The man who was shot was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
Police believe this is an isolated incident.
