Man killed in east Indianapolis shooting

INDIANAPOLIS — Metro Police are investigating a deadly shooting on Indianapolis' east side Thursday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to East 24th Street and Barnor Drive on reports of shots fired around 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday night. When they arrived, a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

The shooting victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

IMPD has yet to release any further details at the time of this reporting.
