INDIANAPOLIS — The man accused of shooting and killing an Indianapolis convenience store clerk during a 2014 robbery has entered a plea deal with prosecutors.

According to court records, Desi Thomas, 26, pleaded guilty on Friday in the June 4, 2014 shooting death of Harry Briggs.

The precise terms of the plea agreement were not immediately available, according to a spokesman with the Marion County Prosecutor's Office.

Briggs was found shot to death at the Joe's Junction convenience store and gas station on West Troy Avenue and Lynhurst Drive. Briggs was working as a cashier when he was shot to death.

Security video reportedly shows a suspect identified as Thomas committing the robbery and shooting Briggs. The suspect can then be seen skipping away from the business.

Thomas was arrested six weeks after the murder.

Thomas is scheduled to be sentenced at the end of the month.
