INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are looking for two men who robbed a man at an east side construction site and left him tied up in a bathroom.
IMPD officers were called to a business under construction in the 1800 block of East 10th Street around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a robbery.
They arrived to find a 42-year-old male victim who said two men had just robbed him and taken his wallet.
The man, who declined an interview request, told police one of the two suspects approached him as he climbed down a ladder and demanded he “give me all you got.”
He said one of the suspects then forced him into the business’ bathroom at gunpoint, while the other tied his hands with rope and covered his mouth with painters tape.
The suspects left him in the room, locking the door as they went.
The victim told police he was unsure how long he was locked in the room before someone else heard him making noise and found him in the bathroom.
The suspects were described as young men, possibly in their 20s. A detailed description was not immediately available.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. Your call may remain anonymous.
