INDIANAPOLIS — One person was shot and killed on the north side of Indianapolis near 38th Street late Sunday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department North District officers responded to the 3700 block of Boulevard Place on reports of a person shot just after 11:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot injury. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner's Office will release the deceased's identity once his family is notified.
IMPD announced an adult male was arrested for his alleged role in the shooting.
