INDIANAPOLIS — A man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot multiple times on Indianapolis' west side early Tuesday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the Deercross Apartments near 38th Street and Eagle Creek Parkway around 1:30 a.m.
Arriving officers found a man in his 40s suffering from from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was rushed to the hospital in serious condition but his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Detectives say they have multiple descriptions of the getaway care and they're still trying to sort out the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which remains under investigation.
