INDIANAPOLIS — An arrest has been made in the murder of a woman found dead in a vehicle downtown last Saturday.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says 23-year-old Ladriel Chapman faces charges in the death of 21-year-old Doneasha Galbreath.

The incident, according to police, happened in the area of West 21st Street and Interstate-65. But the victim was found dead in a vehicle a few miles away near the City-County Building.

The Marion County Coroner has not listed the cause of Galbreath's death. Officers who found the woman downtown said she was suffering from "apparent trauma."

Police are still looking for the public's help in the investigation. If you know something, call the IMPD Homicide Office at 317.327.3475 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317.262.8477 or (TIPS).
