MARION — Police in Grant County are searching for a possibly armed man who robbed the Village Pantry in Marion early Wednesday morning.
The Grant County Sheriff's Department says deputies were called to the Village Pantry in the 1400 block of East 38th Street for a report of a robbery. The suspect reportedly told the cashier he was armed but never displayed a weapon. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses said the suspect was wearing a white baseball cap, a bandana over his face, a dark colored sweatshirt with a white or very light colored thin stripe across the chest, blue jeans, one tan glove, one black glove and sunglasses.
