INDIANAPOLIS — Metro police have arrested a 32-year-old Mooresville man in connection with the shooting death of a man on the east side of Indianapolis in May 2020.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, homicide detectives on Thursday identified and arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the May 2020 shooting death of Pablo Rodriguez, 43.
Police were called to the 4400 block of East Michigan Street just before 12:13 a.m. on May 17, 2020, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found an adult man who had injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The victim, later identified as Rodriguez, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
On Thursday, detectives arrested Adam Starr, 32, of Mooresville, for his role in Rodriguez's death.
According to court records, Starr has been charged in Marion Superior Court with murder and carrying a handgun without a license.
