INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis police officers arrested 12 people on drug and weapons charges Tuesday evening while executing a search warrant on the Near Northside.
East District narcotics officers served the warrant just before 6 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 2300 block of Guilford Avenue.
Inside, according to the incident report, police found suspected cocaine, marijuana, cash, a suspected crack pipe and a 9mm handgun.
They also found 12 people, who were arrested on a variety of charges ranging from possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, possession/cultivation of marijuana and maintaining/visiting a common nuisance.

As of Wednesday evening, formal charges had not yet been filed in the case.
