Even though the number of people flying has plummeted 75%, the Transportation Security Administration is finding more guns.
TSA says the rate of guns per passenger was three times higher this July than the same time last year.
Nearly 15 guns were found per one million travelers, according to TSA officials. Most guns found were reportedly loaded, as well.
The jump in passengers carrying guns through security isn't shocking to TSA however, as there was a 5% increase from 2018 to 2019.
