INDIANAPOLIS — A shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis left one person dead Sunday.
According to IMPD, officers responded to the 2400 block of Hillside Ave at New Bridge Apartments on a report of shots fired just before 4 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim with gunshot injuries. The victim died on the scene, IMPD confirmed.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Devin Scanlon, 19.
IMPD Homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin their investigation.
