INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting on the north side of Indianapolis.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened around 11 p.m. at 9030 Wesleyan Road.
Officers arrived to the scene and found a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The man was identified as 45-year-old Damion Cole.
The victim was pronounced deceased.
At this time, police are actively investigating the incident.
