INDIANAPOLIS — A person was shot and killed on the northeast side of Indianapolis early Friday morning, police said.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 8400 block of Meadowlark Drive around 1:50 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim with gunshot injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased.
IMPD detectives have responded to begin an investigation.
