INDIANAPOLIS — One person was shot and critically wounded Monday afternoon on the near west side of Indianapolis.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the area of West 10th Street and North Traub Avenue around 4:44 p.m. Monday on report of a person shot.
Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
According to police, the male victim was in a car driving when the suspect opened fire from another vehicle. The victim crashed his car at 10th and Traub after the shooting. The suspect fled in their vehicle.
Police said the suspect is believed to be a male.
