INDIANAPOLIS — Three people have died in three separate shootings across Indianapolis on Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, it started around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3900 block of North Boulevard Place. Officers were called on report of a person shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
Police said around 3 p.m., officers were called to an apartment complex in the 2300 block of Hillside Avenue on report of a shooting. Police said the victim in the shooting has died.
Shortly before 5 p.m., officers were called to a third shooting, this time in the 4000 block of Stratford Court on report of a person shot.
Police said the victim has been taken to an area hospital in critical condition and later was pronounced dead.
All three shootings remain under investigation.
