INDIANAPOLIS — One person has died after a shooting late Friday on the city's northeast side.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3900 block of Biscayne Road around 11:13 p.m. on report of a person shot.

Police said when officers arrived they found a person suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was initially transported to an area hospital in critical condition, but has since died from the wounds, officers said.
