FISHERS — One person was injured in a shooting on Monday afternoon in Fishers.
According to a report from Fishers police, officers were called to the area of 104th Street and Olio Road, in a neighborhood near Geist Elementary School, around 4 p.m. Monday on report of a person shot.
Police said there was an incident between two individuals and one person was shot in the leg. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The other person involved in the incident has not been taken into custody, police said, however, there is no threat to the general public.
The incident remains under investigation.
