INDIANAPOLIS — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Castleton Square Mall early Thursday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the scene near the 6000 block of E. 82nd Street around 7:30 a.m.
Responding officers found an unresponsive man lying at the side of the road near the west lanes of E 82nd Street. That man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
IMPD says they do not have any reliable suspect or suspect vehicle information to release at this time.
The incident remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
