INDIANAPOLIS — A person was injured in a shooting Sunday evening on the east side of Indianapolis.
Genae Cook, a public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, said officers responded to the 800 block of North Grant Street just before 5:30 p.m.
Cook said officers administered first aid and placed a tourniquet on the victim, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition but is now stable.
