INDIANAPOLIS — A person was shot and killed early Sunday while attempting to rob a northwest side pizza restaurant.
Police were called just after midnight to the Papa John's location in the 3800 block of Georgetown Road near West 38th Street, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report.
When they arrived, officers found a male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Marion County Chief Deputy Coroner Alfie McGinty has identified the man as Mason Wiseman, 18.
