INDIANAPOLIS — A homeowner shot and killed a man as he allegedly tried to break into a house Wednesday morning on the south side of Indianapolis.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred around 6:35 a.m. in the 400 block of Powell Street.
Police initially said the man was in critical condition, but sent an update minutes later that said he died.
The man has been identified as Shawn Parrott, age 26.
