INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead following a shooting Tuesday night on the north side.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers found an adult man in the parking lot of a strip mall near the Drake's Keystone restaurant and bar in the 3700 block of E. 82nd Street. The man, who had been shot during the shooting that occurred just before 11:30 p.m., was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries.
IMPD said witnesses were interviewed and a possible suspect is in custody.
Investigators do believe this is an isolated incident and everyone involved is believed to be detained.
