INDIANAPOLIS — Police responded to a shooting Wednesday evening on the north side of Indianapolis.
Aaron Hamer, a public information officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, said a person was transported to the hospital in serious condition after being shot in the 3800 block of N. Capitol Avenue.
The shooting happened just after 7 p.m.
