INDIANAPOLIS — One person died Tuesday morning in a shooting on the city's east side.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department found a man suffering from a gunshot wound just before 4:30 a.m. in the 4800 block of East 19th Street, west of Emerson Avenue. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police have not released the victim's identity or information about what led to the shooting.
