INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead following a shooting Tuesday evening on the north side of Indianapolis.
Aaron Hamer, a public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, said officers responded to a shooting just before 7 p.m. in the 3000 block of N. Capitol Ave.
Homicide detectives are investigating the case, and the Marion County Coroner will release the victim's name after his family has been notified.
