INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in serious condition following a shooting late Sunday on the northeast side.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 8000 block of East 35th Place just before midnight. When police arrived, they found shell casings and discovered bullet holes in a house.
Inside the house, officers found a person who had been shot in the back. The person was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.
The victim's identity has not been released, and police did not have information on a suspect.
