INDIANAPOLIS — A person was found shot to death Sunday evening on Indianapolis' far east side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to 4248 Ponza Court on a report of a person shot around 2 p.m.. Officers arrived and found a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
