INDIANAPOLIS — A person has died after being shot on the west side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officers responded to West 10th Street and Rochester Avenue on reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot injury.
The man was identified as 19-year-old Alton Kerney by the Marion County Coroner's Office on Thursday.
Kerney died at the scene.
