INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death early Friday on Indianapolis' south side.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 6800 block of Buckridge East Drive just after 2 a.m. Friday on report of a person stabbed. When officers arrived, they could not locate the injured person.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Nathan Cain Henry, 18. The cause of death is stab wounds and his death has been ruled a homicide.
While officers were on scene, police learned a man had been dropped off at Community Hospital South. A short time later, the man died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives responded to the area and located several people who were alleged to be involved. All were detained and taken downtown for questioning. Police said it appears to be an isolated incident.
