INDIANAPOLIS — Police are searching for the person who shot a man in the chest on the east side of Indianapolis early Friday.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened shortly after 1 a.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Brookside Parkway South Drive.
IMPD said a man and a woman were fighting in the street when the suspect pulled up on a bicycle and began arguing with the man. The man on the bike shot him and took off. Police said the woman involved also left the scene.
Police said the victim is in serious but stable condition at an area hospital.
