LAFAYETTE — Police are asking for the public's help to locate a person of interest in the murder of a 52-year-old woman.
Lafayette Police Department officers responded to the home of Lisa Heinsen in the 1300 block of Hart Street on February 7 to perform a welfare check after a family member called them.
When they arrived, officers found Heinsen dead inside the home. Her death is being treated as a homicide.
Police say Juan Manuel Roano, 62, has been identified as a person of interest in the case. He is believed to be driving a 2004-2005 white Nissan Pathfinder with possible passenger side damage.
