INDIANAPOLIS — The Marion County Prosecutor is not filing charges "at this time" against the two men arrested in connection with the shooting of two southern Indiana judges outside a White Castle restaurant earlier this month.
County Circuit Court Judge Andrew Adams and Clark Circuit Court Judge Brad Jacobs were shot during what police called an altercation in the parking lot of a White Castle in downtown Indianapolis in the early hours of May 1.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrested Brandon Kaiser, 41, and Alfredo Vazquez, 23, Tuesday in connection with the shooting.

“We have received the results of the investigation conducted to date, including video retrieved from surveillance cameras. At this time, we have determined that additional investigation must be completed before we can make a charging decision in the matter," said Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry.
Police say the two judges had visited several downtown restaurants and bars late Tuesday and early Wednesday evening.
Around 3 a.m., police say the group tried to enter a bar, but it was closed so they went to a nearby White Castle and Adams and Jacobs were shot after an altercation with another group. Both are expected to make a full recovery.
