SCOTTSBURG — Indiana State Police arrested a Scottsburg High School student after he allegedly made bomb threat against the school.

Scottsburg High School was evacuated at 9:45 a.m. Monday after a student received a text saying a bomb had been placed in a school locker. Officers used bomb-sniffing dogs to search and clear the building, and the incident was determined to be a hoax.

State police arrested the 15-year-old student who allegedly made the threat at 2 p.m. and transported him to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.

He has been charged with felony intimidation.
