Second victim dies a week after being shot multiple times in vehicle on Indy's west side

INDIANAPOLIS — A second victim has died a week after a shooting on Indianapolis' west side.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were patrolling in the 3300 block of Lafayette Road in the early morning hours of September 2 when they found a car stopped on the bridge. Inside, officers found Bra-Lynn Bryant, 19, and Shaquille Wilson, 25, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene. Wilson was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He died in the early morning hours of September 9.

Police have not released any information about a suspect in the shooting, which remains under investigation.
