INDIANAPOLIS— A security guard’s family is asking for the public's help tracking down the man's killer.
Quintin Cole, 37, was shot and killed in the 300 block of East New York Street on November 2 while he was patrolling on foot in downtown Indianapolis.
“He loved nature, he loved art,” Jaleel Perry, Quintin’s brother, said.
Perry describes Quintin as a quiet creator who used to make his own comics.
"He definitely was an artistic spirit,” Perry said. “He didn't hurt nobody. He did his job and he went back home."
No arrests have been made.

But Quintin’s employer, GardaWorld is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer or killers.
"I know how people are, and they tend to stay out of things,” Perry said. “Imagine if it was you. You'd want anybody to give them something."
You can contact Crimestoppers at 317-262-TIPS or Detective Steven Gray at 317-502-3792.
"Everyone is naïve to it and blind to it, until it touches you,” Perry said. “That's when you want everyone to come to your aid. And we are left with no answers, no information, no leads."
Now Perry is trying to figure out how to live his life without his brother.
“I can't control that I lost my brother, but I can control keeping his name alive,” Perry said. “That's what I am going to do to the best of my ability."
