INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating a shooting that left a person seriously wounded Saturday morning on the city's west side.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the shooting just after 10:15 a.m. in the 10 block of Beachway Drive. Officers found one person who was shot.
The victim has been transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Police have not released information about a suspect or what led to the shooting.
