Shots fired into Brass Flamingo night club

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis police are looking for two men suspected of shooting at the Brass Flamingo night club late Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the club at 4011 Southeastern Avenue just after midnight Wednesday on a report of shots fired into the outside of the building.

According to manager Ken Michael, the suspected shooters had been kicked out of the business for violating club policy.

“They were taking photographs and we asked them to stop,” Michael said. “They weren’t happy about that.”

Michael said the men have been permanently banned from the club, and that management turned over video of the suspected shooters to police.

Michael said the club hasn’t seen any incidents like this in recent memory.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.
