Silver Alert canceled for missing 19-month-old boy

JEFFERSON COUNTY — A missing 19-month-old boy was returned safely to his home after the boy's disappearance triggered an Indiana Silver Alert.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department issued a silver alert early Tuesday for the disappearance of Kayden Matthew Fresh, 19 months, was last seen Monday, April 1 at 8 p.m.

Deputies said Fresh may be in the company of Jaxx Damian Falconberry, 28.

On Tuesday afternoon, the sheriff's office said in a statement that deputies were called to the 200 block of West Cardinal Court in Madison in reference to a custodial dispute. A woman reported that Falconberry took her child without permission at approximately 8:05 p.m. Monday. Deputies checked several areas Falconberry would visit without finding him.

Shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday, approximately two hours after the Indiana Silver Alert was issued, a deputy was contacted by the 911 dispatch center that the child was back home.

Falconberry has not been located.
